Research Internship

During my senior year, I completed a research internship that allowed me to bridge classroom knowledge with applied scientific inquiry. This experience centered on conducting literature reviews, analyzing current evidence, and synthesizing findings into concise reports. I developed several one-page research reviews that highlighted emerging trends in exercise science and patient-centered care. Through this process, I strengthened my ability to critically evaluate sources, communicate complex information clearly, and contribute to ongoing academic discussions.
This internship sharpened my critical thinking and technology skills by requiring me to navigate databases, interpret data, and present findings in accessible formats. It also reinforced professionalism and career development, as I learned to manage deadlines, collaborate with faculty mentors, and adapt feedback into improved work.
